Brockhampton Manor in Herefordshire  with it's gatehouse, moat and  Chapel ruins, dates  back to .14th Century..

Lovely images Polly!  The last time I went to Brockhampton Manor was years ago when I didn't have a decent camera, seeing these photos and the one of the carpenters workshop has made me think about going again shortly. It's only down the road for me compared to my recent Elan Valley day out.

Your feedback is appreciated both Johns, David and Colin... I have a collection of pics taken indoors at the Manor House as until recently ... ( 6 years ago ) a family lived in the house . Now the National Trust have taken responsibility for it and the rooms depict various  times, each showing a different era that  the house has “lived “ through over the last 600 years

 I’ll post some more either on this thread or anew one ...
