The DIY experiment with an old Projector lens married to the helicoid focus ring of a vintage Russian lens s paying off big time.

Although I am hampered slightly by a pretty restricted focal range, get it right and the rewards are there....as can be seen here.

The Leica 90 mm-2.8 straight through lens is pin sharp, and colour rendition is more than beautiful.

So impressed am I that I've ordered another, but this time I will fix it into an M42 Helicoid Focus Tube adapter....this, hopefully, will offer a longer reach possibly to infinity.

Both shots above demonstrate just how sharp the targeted area is...the colour rendition is very beautiful too.

I reckon that this is the way to  FINE-ART Photography on a budget?
