I think they are Sparrowhawks,

Now, I went out for a walk this afternoon and heard a commotion high up on a hill in a local forest. Several of these were calling to each other like a shrill Ki Ki Ki sound. They flew at each other and were generally playful always staying in a group of about six strong. I did not think Sparrowhawks were a social species staying in groups, or have I witnessed something unusual??

Certainly looks like a sparrowhawk to me  .. The females are twice the size and weight of the males.  I wonder if these were juveniles in their first year..they can look more like females with their more brown colouring . Well done on getting some decent pics of them Denis...
