I want to ride my bicycle

Recommended Posts

One from earlier this year with a bit of a new topaz twist.
This bike was up by Coldstone Cut and made by the quarry workers for the Grand Depart back in 2014. It doesn't really show the true scale of the bike.

Are those tyres  tractor size  or  maybe from those huge trucks  you see working in quarries ?  Yeah you’re right ... it’s not easy to tell how big this is and the tyres against the tufts of grass is what makes you think you know  ... but it could be deceptive ..  I rather like the treatment  ...it makes it look a bit like it’s a mural .

I would say they are from the quarry trucks yes. I have just googled some pictures I would guess around the 6ft mark.

I'm surprised you didn't get someone to sit on the saddle  .... (Freddie   would have  ...)   it would make a great pic for our caption challenge ....;)

I like that, for me it has a surreal quality about it. It's made even more surreal by the texture you've added.

Careful with that texture twiddling, it's as addictive as chocolate.
