I’m  hoping to catch some of these fabulous raptors in the wild at one of the feeding stations ... I’d be pleased if I had taken these John ... SO difficult ... in the days of film there would be a lot of wasted photos  for me !

brilliant shots :)      i've been to gigrin farm and came away with over 700 pics ...................11 were in focus..........4 were keepers.... they are so hard to photograph but its such a spectacle ....its worth going without the camera

Redkites.

Shots taken at Gigrin Farm near Rhayader, I met Phil there 5/9/2012 and we spent an hour or so in one of the hides.

Yes I noticed that ...  they seem fairly tame ..       they do look quite  exotic don't they ...although they do remind me a bit of little penguins just because of the black and white .... and Toucans a bit , withe those big beaks. Odd little things...

I saw lots a few years back when me, Chrissy and Geodar went to the Farne Islands, we did a boat trip and you get an hour on the island. I always thought they would be quite big but they're actually quite small, the nest in burrows underground.
