Clitheroe Castle

The processing makes it look like an old print rather than a new photo, Geoff.  It looks like there was no breeze from the flag.

The castle on the hill overlooking the town reminds me a bit of Harlech.  I got into trouble with my wife there - we parked at the bottom and walked up, then when we got there, found that there was another road at the other side where we could have driven right up to the castle!

I agree, it does look like an old print - except for the street lamps!

I seem to remember some controversy re trees being cut down around the castle. I think the Council wanted the castle to be seen on the approaches to the town, but there were folk who didn't agree. Looks like the the Council won the battle.
