A very good set of images, interesting that you are allowed to photograph inside.

You can photograph any where that’s open to the public, but no flash or tripods in the hall. Also I noticed that a lot of the rooms have the windows covered to defuse the bright sunlight. To stop paintings and other items from fading I guess.

We've been there many times but never inside the house as we always find enough to see outside, so it's interesting to see the interior shots.

The National Trust never used to allow photography inside the houses, which is why we've got into the habit of never bothering to go in.  I believe they've relaxed that policy in recent years though.

Was the shot of the folly taken with a very long lens, Paul? - or did you walk out towards it?

It was taken with a em1 mk2 with 40-150 Pro, basically 300mm on a full frame camera. And a little bit bit of a crop as well.

Ah... okay.  I was thinking it was closer than any I've taken but I've since looked back at the photos from my last visit and I did get a similar shot with my 70-300mm.
Your sky is better than mine though!
