Nice one... detail in the feathers, great depth of field... and even a catchlight in the eye!

Would it improve it a bit to crop/clone out the light strip in the top right corner?

Thanks Gareth, yes I probably should have cloned that light strip out. I had to use the smallest f stop on the Sigma 150-600mm, which was I think f5.6 or maybe f6.3, because I didn't want to increase the iso. I'd been trying to photograph the bird for about 30 minutes, I'd just get it in focus and it would fly away. It's another normally very shy bird

Love the reflection in his eye Rye, we do get to see Blackbirds here, but only in the urban areas.
