Decaying boat at Sunderland (River Lune)

Went to Sunderland at high tide but this boat was still well away from the  water.  HDRd it. Is it overdone ? Looks as decayed as I remember.

No - I don't think it's overdone.  You've brought out the texture very well.

Dose not look hdr to me either, it looks quite a natural well lit shot and as said showing some nice texture detail.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

With M4/3 I feel I need to bracket and merge to get a full range of tones in a high contrast subject, providing the subject is static. Hence my use of HDR from time to time despite some folk disliking the technique.

As above it looks really good (the photo that is, not the boat - I reckon it'll need more than a splash of paint to fix that boat 😄)
