Spitfire and Hurricane

Seeing as this weekend sees the UK Armed Forces day, I thought I'd put up a couple from last year's Victory show at Cosby.

I had the opportunity to walk the parking line and although there weren't many chances to get pictures without people, this Spitfire was one that I waited ages for (but I can't remember which one it is :( )

and this Hurricane did a low level flypast (not exactly low speed though!)

The Hurricane is Peter Vachers immaculate, and highly original, Battle Of Britain veteran R4118 a MkI that he has restored to its original wartime configuration.

Probably the most beautiful example flying today.......I absolutely love Hawker Hurricanes!
