And 15 minutes later arriving at Oxenhope Station

Interesting logistics - can you drive between stations faster than it takes the train to get there?

You can despite it just being a few miles, because the train stops at Haworth, plus the trains don't go very fast, though for some reason it's much harder to beat the train from Oxenhope to Oakworth.....

It isn't plus you have to take into consideration that from the first image I had to wait until the train passed and then barriers opened on the crossing before I could get to my car parked at the station, but from there to Oxenhope it's mainly 40 mph roads, you can't always do it due to traffic. It's the train stop at Haworth that makes the difference as more people tend to get off or on.

More people tend to get on or off the train at Haworth when it comes from Keighley, as they are either coming to Haworth or returning to Keighley. I often race the trains on the ELR between Rawtenstall and stations after Ramsbottom because there's there's usually a 10 minute wait there.

I think I'd just have a cup of tea & wait for the next one!

No (ok well maybe), depending on which train is running it might be tender first one way and the engne first the other, also there might be other trains, either steam or diesel that come next, it's all dependent on the timetable and loco roster. So you literally just race the trains up and down the line to get to points were you can photograpgh the train you want, the ELR is much easy as there's a 70 mph section on the roads in between...
