Getting the War Face On

Which battle was it?

Thanks Gareth, it was supposed to represent a battle on the Eastern front between Germany and Russia, the Russians did have women fighting on the front lines as snipers, machine gunners and tank drivers and crews, as well as partisans.

All the re-enactors do take it seriously, as can be seen on their faces, the burry bit in front of the gun is from the concusion.

You captured some images like this a couple of years ago Rye, you seem to excel at these type and do capture good scenes.

Thanks Denis, I think these two were taken on the Sigma 150-600mm. I did take around 400ish images of the battle re-enactment here at Rawtenstall, they did have another battle today but it was absolutely tipping it down with rain so I didn't bother. I've still got loads more to look through and process.
