Compare that with the touring vans of today

 

 

And the mascot on the radiator cap raised an eyebrow or two, especially the tail and wheels

Te very first caravan that we hired in Wales with out daughter when she was a baby, wasn't much bigger than that. Brings back memories.

I always think it's so nice that people spend so much time and love (and money) restoring and up keeping these wonderful old vehicles. they are lovely to see.

Not the front, but I have one showing the registration, and I had a memory about the make... off to the DVLC site on a trawl...

 

this is a 1933 Hillman (minx I think) first reg 19/1/1933 and it's got an 1185cc petrol engine
