A small woodland reserve on the Berks-Hants border just South of Newbury. Bringing the Kiev 60 back into circulation after figuring a way to fix the D-ring on the film release.

It was a bit more closed woodland than I'd expected so I didn't really have the right film (FP4+ rather than HP5+), the first was a 1/30 exposure which is actually surprisingly manageable when using the waist-level finderdespite the big mirror

Shot 2 works best for me - I love the way the log leads the eye into the picture.

Thanks Korky,

That shot was  a bit rushed in the end as the cow was moving steadily forward, and was about to partially disappear behind the bush. When I first "saw" the shot she was a couple of bushes further left but there was an intrusive foreground shrub where I was standing, and by I found a place to get rid of it she had almost gone too far.
