How close were you to it? Is the lens a telephoto?

Hi Cheryl,

No, not s telephoto just a film-days vintage Russian-made JUPITER 11....my micro four thirds camera almost doubles the focal length.....but I was just six feet away standing just inside my open front door.....the pigeon came down as I was scrambling for shelter myself, I stayed in the doorway to shoot a series of shots.....perhaps the super-heavy rain had disorientated him/her?

Here is a pic of the lens, but not on my camera....135mm -f4 Prime....more of a portrait lens really, minimum focus distance circa a metre.

So the vintage 135mm lens is effectively more like 270mm on your camera. Pretty good at 6ft from your subject.
