A spider - I think it's a male judging by the large pedipalps

And a bug, probably of the Miridae family

Good shots, Geoff.  The bug is the best one as it has a bit more depth of field.

It's the things that look like two boxing gloves on either side of it's head.

Thanks Gareth, sometimes almost all times you have to take the bugs how you find them before they run off or fly away.
