The exclamation....and literally because I shot all of these from my very beautiful ...JUPITER 11...vintage Russian 135 mm -3.5 lens... the minimum  focusing distance is around three feet...so this dreamy background is the result...plus wonderful sharpness and colour rendition...shot in RAW...so my usual post processing to achieve best result.

1: The ...Drooping Daff...is rather sad..but not when you see the promise f years to come in its seed head.

2: Similarly the Curling Tulip....has promise inside its protective bowl.

3: The fens they are unfurling.....amazing primitive plants...our are all of genuine Victorian origin from our 1875 front garden.

Hi, all....thank you.

i love our Victorian Ferns.....the unfurling as they emerge from a winter of brown, dead-looking roots always fascinates me....always worth a close look.

I love too, all of my vintage lenses, ....the ...Rocket-ship shaped Jupiter 11 is one of my favourites, it renders flowers and portraits beautifully, once you get used to the circa 3ft minimum  focusing distance.
