had to rush tonight ...had 30 mins till sunset and decided to go out with the camera ...so where to go ..decided on a small lake a few miles away...think i was lucky as i got there just in time

I often do this if I see a possible nice sunset. you got a nice set of images Ryland

What a really good set you've managed there at such short notice Ryland ...although similar, they are in fact all very different  and your compositions are  really  clever   in that respect... Kudos  richly earned methinks ... 

You really ought to post more often especially as you live in a part of the country I visit  as often as I can to take  pictures     so more please ....

Well I'll be watching out for  some more of your  pics then Ryland ...  I for one would appreciate  you  telling us where you have taken them too ... so I can  maybe   go and find the places when I next visit .... Seeing as you are a local,  you can see what i  am doing eh ....picking your brains ....lol

A really good set of images - I think the ones with the tree silhouettes work the best.

Timed to the Nth degree......not the usual,.....red-sky....sunsets.....but beautifully subdues ones.....that blue and gold is very striking.
