Strumble Head Light - (Sharper in Lightbox)

Hmmm. I see no ships ... or a lighthouse John .... what seems to be the issue ... was it within the size ceilings ...  ( silly to ask as you’ve posted enough times ) . Did it increase in file size after uploading ... ?  Looks like the problem we have had before where we have been unable to find out why it’s happening ... ?

Seems to be showing now. I like the way you've composed it so it looks like the lighthouse is resting on the horizon. I did wonder whether a letterbox crop might be better, but then it would break the rule of thirds... although I'm not against breaking the rules...

I’m not usually a fan of sunrise and sunset shots....but this one appeals greatly because it is obvious that you have used many skills to achieve the excellent final result

You have recorded the very special light at that time beautifully.....the study oozes calm and peace......the kind of shot for a waiting room I think.

I like it.

Thanks all for the comments.

Rye, I think you're right.  A letterbox shot would work quite well but I was reluctant to lose that patch of light in the FG and in the end I kept it in.

Thanks Fuji.  It was fairly peaceful but I'm bound to admit that as the light failed, it became quite eerie, particularly since I was totally alone.  Couldn't wait to get back to the car.
