Best viewed in Light Box.

Yes - another one that's noticeably sharper in Light Box than in the post.  I wonder why!
The depth of field works well - there's enough differential between the boat and the background for the boat to stand out, but we can still see exactly what's there.
What's the story here, John?  Whats all the rigging at the sides of the boat for?

Thanks Gareth.  It's a fishing boat on its way out into the Bay of Fundy. Not sure about the method unless they hang lines rather than nets from the outrigged poles.  I caught it on its way out from a land bound area connected to the Bay by a narrow neck.  Consequently tidal movements are quite fierce particularly since the bay of Fundy has the largest tides on the planet.

Sometimes...coincidence plays funny tricks....you have.almost replicated a Watercolour painting I did last year......

Yours is a great photograph ....lots of atmosphere......I can almost feel the spray...

Now I'm getting worried Fuj.  Not just about the similarity but it's an old image.  I just looked at the EXIF data and it was taken in 2016, the same year that you produced watercolour.  If you tell me it was in September, I'm really going to get worried.
