after buying the fotovue book photograping south wales i found out the st govans chapel was in west wales ...always thought it was in cornwall :) ...so last december i had a day off so took a drive down there to take a few pics..I went at the wrong time of day so i was stuggling with shadows but was lucky enough that a few clouds got rid of the shadows just long enough to take some pics and after that i was lucky enough to catch a cracing sunset at manorbier beach on the way home  :)

I love Wales ... the beach photos are  typical of the feel of the  coastal  area  ... Some lovely depth and perspective to the  seascapes   and the footprints  make  a great foreground    interest    in  # 3  and the symmetry  works well on #4 ..Yeah ...I'd say well worth the trip  Ryland .:yes

That's a nice series.  1 and 4 are the stand outs for me.  The atmosphere created by the mono in the first brings out a remoteness and many (including me) might have been tempted to crop the last to move the horizon off the centre line but it works as is in this one.  Nice work.
