January is generally too cold for insects in the UK, but I found this small opilione on a house brick in the garden today.

Seems there are bugs everywhere, even now. I just can't find them!

All of our bugs are hiding from our heat, so I'm not seeing much either.

Yes, there is a woodlouse underneath the harvestman. Bonus buggy!

So easily mistaken for a spider.....We have a small group who  appear in our wet-room from time to time during the warmer months....where they hide is a mystery.....they must be able to fold those incredibly long legs into tiny cracks ?

This is a shorter legged sub-specie. The ones with massive legs are amazingly funny to watch running at the Mrs!!!
