Wow .... the separation on these images is outstanding Roger ...The detail and how you have frozen their movement with such clarity is quite mindblowing .. I looked to find the EXIF data and sadly found none so could you tell  us .. PLEASE ...

I am in awe of these Roger ...an inspiring set of  images  just beautifully presented and composed.

Thanks everyone, wow did not expect that feed back, the EXIF is rather long winded , but here are the settings I used , for starters ,Camera Canon 7D mark11, Lens used Sigma 150/600. cropped sensor /960 mm, taken at 6.3 AP , shutter 1/2000 ISO 5000,Ex compensation 1/3 +.,weather very low light overcast day, bad noise on all images , the 7d is well known for this , processing done in Photoshop Elements, and I use Neat Image from my Astro days for the Noise reduction, to capture the images I focus on the point I know they are landing, wind back the lens for a wider view, remove my eye from the viewfinder as  they approach , I rapid fire to capture the images. yea not as simple as that though lol, you have to have lightning reflex. great Fun.

Interesting that you use neat image for noise reduction ... haven’t used that for about five years  Thanks for all  that info Roger. .. it is appreciated and gives one an idea of the complexity of producing, what are, quality images in this case ...    in cases like this it might be really interesting to see the image before any crop and processing  too .    Just fabulous stuff Roger ... ?I shall  keep practicing ... so your advice is really appreciated.
