Background material...

I've been collecting  images  for a library  of images  that I could use  for  backgrounds in composites and textured overlays  for a while.... When  I   processed this one  it looked  like it could possibly stand alone as an abstraction... hmmm  ?

Pleasing image but the lack of a focal point makes it better as background.

Yeah .... hence the “ hmmmm “ David....  I have quite a library of backgrounds  .... useful as you say John ..

It's surprising what you can do with a good BG.  I have a library of "Useful Images".  A good cloudscape can be particularly useful.

It's something  you learn to recognise isn't it ... images you can use for backgrounds  or overlays .....pebbles , stonework,  peeling paintwork  mossy concrete, woodgrain  bark     handwriting .... the list is endless isn't it ? .....

My library of 'useful' images contains some weird and wonderful stuff I can promise ya.

I also have a box of fings what I found on a walk - much to Mrs K's annoyance!
