Thanks David, I wasn't sure if I should put the horizon more central, but I did like the contrast between the sea weathered rocks and the squared-off shapes from the castle. I did, however, clone out all the people from the beach for this version as I did find them quite distracting despite the small size....

I'm afraid I disagree with David on this one ... I wouldn't make the horizon central in any photograph unless  I was absolutely forced to on pain of death ....... lol

As for the lowest  rocks in the foreground ... ... I think they are  really good  for the balance of this  image ......without that little stretch of sand and water below that heavy ridge of rocks,  I feel the image  would be  "bottom " heavy  and lose  the proportions that   lifts the eye in steps up to the castle and the  cloud formation ....  tis just my opinion though .... <sodemoji.1f609></sodemoji.1f609>

A great landscape and subject.....nicely seen and rendered.

I agree with Clicker on this one ( sorry David ) ..... Sad to say, I don’t like borders unless a photograph is on a wall mounted or framed....it’s a personal thing.

Great composition.  When I was there it was terribly windy and we didnt have much time, so I only took shots from the other side.  It makes a much better image from this side.  I know rule of thirds are made to be broken, but as (believe it or not) a long time landscape photographer I would always avoid having the horizon in the middle.
