Very hot few days here, so not much activity. We have been very entertained by visitors to the bird bath area outside the lounge window. These little Wrens played in the moist soil in this pot plant:

And a very nice Spiny Cheeked Honeyeater came for a drink:

We even had some  waspy things came and hung around by the window, in the shade of our pull down blind:

Not much else we could do in this weather!

So pleased that you are surviving the oppressive heat on your patch currently Dee.....the local wildlife must treat it as a very real ....Life-Saver.....as well as giving you both much pleasure.

The variety of species enjoying your offerings never fail to fascinate, so different are they to what we get in our gardens.....mind you, we did get pretty close to your current heat, last summer.....it nearly did for me......give me a bit of frost any day compared to that.

Thanks Fuji - yes it is a form of 'life saving' and we don't mind doing it.

We are set up for the heat with our air conditioners, but it does get a tad boring being shut in so much. Currently 37C deg as I write this, and about the same tomorrow, so we might cruise out for a while, but then we are heading for a 39C deg day on Thursday, and 45C deg on Friday - that will be a bit much!!!!!
