More from Coventry City Centre,,......

The lass in platform boots carrying a Mickey mouse bag was too good to miss...we were in a very dark shopping  arcade so lots of noise.

Most shot through my favourite vintage lens.

Comments and observations actively encouraged.

Thanks Geof.....much appreciated.

Coventry is a very easy City to visit, because the centre is so compact, and easy to navigate, most of it being pedestrianised or partly so. The centre is within easy walking distance of the station, served by express trains.

Broadgate where the last two figures here are, is a wide open square within which anything can happen, and does.....the ethnic mix is wide and varied, it has become an increasingly busy....Student City, with accommodation blocks being colourfully converted or built to serve Coventry University and the very near Warwick `university. Within a ten minute walk there are the amazing and free Motor Museum, the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum, and then the new and old Cathedrals, and Holy Trinity `church, then, obviously a wide variety of food outlets to choose from......

Your iPhone, app should be all you need as a guide.....or....let me know if you intend to visit and I could see if Imight join you on the first day to point you in the right directions whils doing a joint-Shoot ?

All good shots - I think #5 is my favourite.

I'd be interested to see the girl with the Micky Mouse bag with the same processing as the others.

Cheeers!

i would have loved to have done that too, but shooting conditions were abysmal.....it was nearing 3 pm on a then, post-storm winter’s day, inside a poorly lit, narrow 1960 s shopping arcade.

I did, say what a great bag and boots, received a lovely smile of thanks....but no luck with my request that she standf still for a second or so....just a pleasant wave and a cheery......" BYE ! "
