Spotted on a wander around the town centre today...

What a colourful collection Rye ! just shows how a little paint brightens up ordinary streets .

A very good graffiti artist was 'ere methinks ... Just love that first one especially ...

Thanks Clicker, both the first and second were on the same building - a pub that used to be called The Old Bank, which my Mum and Dad ran from 1977 for 11 or 12 years.

Dale Grimshaw , the artist  is from your neck of the woods Rye ... he works in London a lot so I am interested in  how long ago he did  these  public pieces of Art ...Are they commissions ?

A very talented Artist created all of them...... I must look up Dale Grimshaw.

Im not a fan of the usual grafitti, but work of this quality is good in the right places..

The one I photographed was done in 2017, the Connect Four one was done this year by Boo Who? (an artist from Preston), the first 2 images were done by Curtis Hylton and Addfuel it's part of a project called Blackburn Open Walls.

Didn't know Blackburnions had it in them Rye.  Nice series and nice artwork.  We could do with some in Preston.

  BOW looks an innovative  and  interesting project Rye ....  nice to see the " arts" are alive and well in the area ...

Great images ... we have an area in Birmingham called Digbeth where they have a City of Colours thing going on most years where street artists are let loose to do similar stuff.

Thanks Stravinsky, I also believe there's an area in Bristol that's open to street art like this. Blackpool also has several good examples as does Glasgow.
