Came across this guy in a place called Halls Harbour in Nova Scotia a couple of years ago (is it that long?).  He specialised in making guitars out of cigar boxes and selling them world wide.    Well known in the blues world if you look him up on YouTube.  He could also play them and we were treated to a fascinating half hour of his music.  He was also very happy to be photographed.  The second image is of some of his output.

I’ve only just caught up with this set John.....my apologies.....

I Google crafts people worldwide, I’m always amazed at the sheer size of the workshops Americans and Canadians have, they may my tiny 8ft by 12ft one look like a storage area.

I have made full size doors and windows inside it, but assembly needs to be done outside on a fine day.

Listen to a fair amount of Country/Blues music too, so very interested in your shots.

Thankyou Hatter, thankyou Fuji.

Fuji, mine is laughingly called a double garage but it's never seen a car in the last 20 years.  I used to make furniture, mainly out of Ash or White Oak.  I don't do as much as I used to but the bug has been nibbling at me recently.  Trouble is the excellent wood yard we used to have on Preston docks has closed it's door this year and so I would have to go further afield for hardwoods.
