I always used to think that con trails ruin a photograph, but these day I don't mind them at all.

In shot 1, I reckon the upper trail is a Qantas flight to Berlin and the bottom trail an Emirates flight to Bahrain. Now that's proper plane spottin'!

Korky it was the combination of the clouds and the trails that I liked, we don't usually see quite that many at once. You are probably on the right track with your spotting, one of them was very noisy, we do notice Emirates!

Now, I have put this in here because the pics I managed to get are not best quality, but, once again, it is literally a 'slice of our life', and a bit of fun .

Got my first morning coffee and sat down, glanced over to where Kelly was comfy on her couch and overhead was this. I have put the first one in just to show size perspective. It wasn't the easiest spot to get close to, but I at least recorded it! This Huntsman was easily as big as my hand, and is now quite happy somewhere outside!:

Did you put ...Incy-Wincy....on the drainpipe Dee ? ?

Wonderful pics of a beaut of a spider.....we don’t get them as big as that here, but during the past few weeks I have rescued, or put outside a number of very large House-Spiders....Autumn is their mating time, so they are seeking partners.

We never kill spiders in our house.....as a kid I was always told it was wrong to do so.

Not quite Fuji - I took him over to our wood pile where he had lots of places to settle down out of the wind, find food and be safe, and not bother us in the lounge.

BP lovely video, nice spot and those waves sound a bit rough. I enjoyed watching that!

Ugh!

You see Bill, what Dee fails to tell us is that it is just a little spiderling, propbably one of 22000 babies that mum, (who, by the way is most likely the size of a very large dinner plate) has produced !

Welcome to Australia...yeah... right!   :)
