One of the visiting steam trains at the ELR's Autumn Steam Gala on Friday. Taken using the Tokina 11-20mm f2.8, at Rawtenstall. The trains that arrive at Rawtenstall un-hitch from the carriages at the front end, then move to the back to pull them back to Bury. This is a good spot to watch them as the move around, the wide angle lens means I can now get the whole engine and tender in frame.

A bit of a pity about the modern building behind but architects seem to like these steel sheds.......
