A "mixed media" portrait of Marc Bolan by Martin Langston entitled "Ain't no square with his corkscrew hair".    The corkscrew hair is made of cassette tape.  (Remember that?)

It's on sale for £125 in the Hitchin Art Centre if anyone wants to buy it...

Nice texture in a Rose Quartz rock from our block:

I went to the cemetery yesterday to photograph the Rainbow Bee-Eaters who arrive in Spring. I'll post the photos in Nature and wildlife later.

While I was there I found this large coffee jar of red roses on the grave of the man that used to grade the road when I was young and took lots of photos with the aim of adding a texture for this week's theme. I'm a learner when it comes to textures. for this picture I added a texture of some sandstone that is very common here.
