Ryewolf 6,043 Report post Posted September 24, 2018 A few from March last year... Both taken around Irwell Vale on the ELR. BR Standard Class 4 2-6-0 she was built at Horwich in March 1957 and was withdrawn in December 1967, she is one of only four surviving members of her class in preservation. It is owned by the 76084 Locomotive Company Limited and was bought in 1997, it returned to traffic on the North Norfolk Railway in July 2013 after £750,000 had been spent on her restoration. Korky 4,993 Report post Posted September 25, 2018 Never really been into trains an' stuff, but I can understand why so many people are. Great pieces of engineering as well as being steamy and noisy. I like that first image very much - the mono processing is perfect for the subject. Korky Share this post Link to post
