Dramatic scenes Rye ... your mono conversions look different to  the ones  you used to do , I notice .   Maybe it’s the silver Fx in the Nik collection.    Some nice tones and contrasts and quite grainy effects ..

Thanks Clicker, yes I've been using Nik Silver Efex a lot more for Mono whereas before I was using Photomatix Pro and some Mono Presets I'd created. I hadn't noticed but the Nik Preset I was using had a film graininess filter added to it. (I must remember to turn it off or use a bit stronger Edge Preserving Smooth.)

Yes, I did get wet (and the camera), not from the waves I was photographing but from the spray coming over the sea wall just to my left.
