That is explain in the text below my photograph David....

our small town is of Medieval origin.....so Gas one, long main shopping street which is very, very busy weekdays....he is attempting to cross between pedestrian crossings, so is waiting for a gap in a continuous stream of vehicles coming from both directions.

He is poised to make a dash for it....

My son-in-Law calls it....Kamikazee Street.....because locals tend to dash ...or, if old...wave walking sticks or simmer-frames to cross between the safer, light-controlled crossings.

Your photo captions are always a big contributor to adding to  the quality of your images Fooj.....  I always think the “slice of life “ topics were made for you as  that’s exactly what you always seem to capture ....
