BOYS AND THEIR TOYS

The beautiful little red MG was spotted in Leamington Spa this morning.....I was on the long walk to the nursing home where my brother now lives.

Then on the walk home close to our house I heard the Stag approaching from behind.....a quick reflex on the shutter and it was mine.

A pair of boys very happy with their toys.

Me too. Nicely taken shots both but the front three quarter view of the MG wins out for me in comp terms.

And that’s a bonus given the time you’ve had to capture this given the circumstances... if you hadn’t got your street photography hat on ...  ( as you always have ). ...You’d have missed this.   Great number plate too btw ...

The MG is a J2 according to the Triple M Register. I was lucky enough to own one rebuilt as a J4 with supercharger, uprated brakes and chassis etc. Smashing little motor and pretty quick once you had the hang of the ENV crash box. Thanks for the memory Fuji.
