Whilst at the IBCC, the 'City of Lincoln' circled round a couple of times before heading off to Blackpool and Ryewolf.

That is a really good side view Colin, one you don't often see with images of the City Of Lincoln's displays..

Thank you Denis, she circled the IBCC a couple of times giving me the chance of a side shot.

I was hoping to include the spire but the distance was too great when she came around the north side.

Cheap as chips Nikon 55/300, I was going to buy something longer but I have just bought a D7500 body instead (which is so much better than my D7000).

Wow ... been  really spoiled this week with some fabulous images of my favourite  iconic aircraft ...  and you always deliver Colin ...  I could spend a fortune buying even more of your prints ... lol   . Thanks for sharing ....

  I have just ordered my  birthday present  courtesy of the other half so I am excited ..it's the Fuji XF 100-400mm 4.5-5.6R LM OIS WR lens so maybe I can have a bash at   the Memorial Flight aircraft too one day ...Has anyone else tried it ?

This was from a few years ago:

75-300 lens at 75mm.  I had to blow the sky right out to get detail on the planes.  I guess I could put them over a better sky in Photoshop.

Oh wow .......that’s a skill ... tell me more .. what size are we talking about  Colin ...  and what printer  etc ... I had another butchers  at these pics on my big iMac  and they look stunning Colin ... I think you have got a customer again  ...
