Small Copper Butterfly

Me and Denis spotted quite a few of these in the field where we'd gone to photograph the trains near Haworth, but these were the first I've seen on my home patch in a local park that has created wildflower butterfly meadow...

Good colourful shots - I prefer the composition of the first one though.

I don't recall seeing any of those down here in Bedfordshire.  (The meadows here seem to have mostly Chalk Hill Blues and Marbled Whites.)
