GOING TO THE SHOW

Last week's Bank Holiday saw the passing through of hundreds of very interesting looking cars, all heading towards the Annual...Kit-Car Show ot Stonleigh just a couple of miles from us.

Many of the participants stay for the weekend to use local Pub's, Cafe's and Restaruants so their vehicles can be closely inspected in the Car-Parks:

Tomorrow (SUNDAY) the Annual ...SuperCar-Sunday...a charity event supported by car enthusiasts from all over the local area.....The very best of the bunch are parked up on the market area, for close insecton and so you can talk to other Petrol Heads, not only that, you can pay a reasonable fee for a spon in a Ferrari, a Porsche or Pink Roller, or even a Racing Car...I will find out when it is, if anyone is interested:

See here...

This convoy of Morgan's? was at least ten cars long, the racket was incredible:

Best Viewed LARGE....Click on Pic:

By the way, you can see the huge Norman Keep of Kenilworth Castle peeking above the treeline in the background, we live very close:

There were some parked outside the Motor Museum when we got back from Leamington but they looked more like 50's and 60s cars.

I didn't feel too well  and was tired so we didn't stop for pics and got the bus straight home. Pity, as there were quite a llot that I recognised from my youth.

Are you going tomorrow?

Hi, Nanny,

I will almost certainly be having a look if the weather is reasonable, today it is spoiling the Festival Street Market and other outside happenings......

Tomorrow, there is he addition of the......PARTY IN THE PARK.....an open air music and entertainments day, there will be marquees stalls, so reasonable shelter, as long as it is warm enough.

watch out for me if you do venture to either event.......you know you can't miss the tall mop of white hair with a camera ;-)
