Thanks John and Gareth, I feel pretty lucky that I live fairly close to Pendle Hill - only 8 miles away - so I can often watch the clouds forming and just jump in the car and catch them. It doesn't always work though and so I do often miss the best....

Somehow I missed this one ....Doh ...  That's a  really top  mono... Fabulous sky  grabbing initial attention then lovely  tones leading us up to the summit and a  sharp   sheep  being  the  focus,  once there.   Lucky you  close to a place where cloud formations can be so dramatic so quickly ...  An excellent  photo ... and a wallhanger for me.

Thanks Clicker, we often get these clouds and weather fronts rolling in from the West off the Irish Sea, so it can change from clear blue skies to dramatic skies like this or flat solid grey within an hour or so as they hit the hills.
