PORTRAIT SHOOT 4

No. 3 in terms of my preferences.  You might pull back the highlights a tad though.  On the other hand, you seem to have captured her character sunny and I am torn between the colour and mono versions.

Colour version again for me - though not keen on the half face on the right..

Thank you for you feedback folks.....much appreciated.

That is....Street Photography ....Rye.....

Attempt to get the background right, and you lose the moment.....the decision to shoot was a split second one..

Please looknat my Classical Guitarist set, you will see that I have blurred the BG during post production.

That lady wouldn’t have a natural expression like that if she had posed......

The highlights ? It was a blazing summer afternoon.....not the best conditions for avoiding them, or very dark shadows.....

That is why I love the challenge of Street Portraiture.

The colour one for me. For my tastes, the mono lacks depth and contrast. I've taken it into PShop an had a twiddle with the Camera Raw filter. I hope you don't mind and I would like your opinion on my edit of your photo.

Thank you Brian......yes....your edit has added contrast and lessened the harsh highlights....I have never discoverecor used, the Camers RAW filter, I must give it a go.....I usually do final adjustments with NIK EFEX.

CHEERS !

As you say, that's street photography, I often get the same thing photographing birds - you can't always choose the background.
