The 52 Project 2018 - Week 08

Recommended Posts

Here we are at Week 8 and it's a theme week.

The theme is 'Straight Out of Camera' so no need to do the big twiddle for this one (that's me snookered!)

As Rye and myself are such nice chaps, we'll allow a slight crop and a levels adjustment, but NOWT else. Tip the Topaz, nobble the NIK and dump the DxO - you can't use 'em.

And...... as always, if you're not happy with the theme, blame Rye!

So here's mine, no twiddles, no tweaks, no adjustments, no crops

Two Trees on Pendle.... f11, 1/160th, iso200 + graduated ND filter to darken the sky.

My idea for the theme was to get people back to thinking about framing and in camera adjustments and filters in the way you did back when it was all film. So other than the frame on the finished image, this is how my original looked.

I forgot about the straight out of camera theme till just now. If I'd remembered I would have taken some different photos instead of birds which I'd usually do more post-processing.  As it was I cropped this one of a  black-shouldered kite.
