More Australiana.

This is one that I took on my holiday especially for tipfers, then forgot to show you. It's an Aboriginal Canoe Tree; whereby they would strip the bark off a large tree, then carefully shape it and stitch it into a canoe. Notice how it hasn't killed the tree. White man would have just chopped it down! These trees were once common along all the waterways in Australia. This one is at the mouth of the River Murray in South Australia.
