HISTORY IN DROUGHT

Recommended Posts

The ongoing drought and extremely hot conditions have changed the appearance of our neighbouring...Kenilworth Castle...very much...yesterday, it was very difficult to obtain the correct aperture, every surface seemed to glow with residue heat absorbed by stones, soil and foliage...grasses were golden and dangerously bone-dry.

Here is just some of what I saw.

Thank you every one....it is a very long time since ai have seen the English countryside looking as arid.....1976 was the last time.

I don’t cope at all well with excessive heat, I get up at circa 05:00, get things done, then hide in the shade until 3-4 pm.....then attempt another walk early evening....but last night that was almost too much.
