STREET PORTRAITS....APPROACHING STRANGERS

I know that many of you may itch to pluck up the courage to approach total strangers on the street to request portraits.....not the easiest task, but there are ways to overcome your fears and inhibitions if you study the techniques those who already do it.

The link below, takes you to just one of many YouTube tutorials on the subject....this one is particularly good.....my only comment after watching it, is that ...not wearing a huge camera bag and a large DSLR would be better...in other words don’t advertise yourself as a ....Photographer.....or one who might be offering to take portraits for cash.

I have said previously, my tiny SONY RX100 MKIII is completely none threatening......subjects just don’t realise how good it is.
