I like the way you have captured such an intimate moment with this violinist, engrossed in her art but I just  wish the balustrade was  less obvious as it keeps taking me out of the  picture....

I'd love to see a colour edit of this one - it's very good as is, but I just feel a colour version might have more impact.

The trouble with the colour version Korky, is that her blouse is very colourful and takes over - hence the mono conversion and I guess, because I like B/W.  The balustrade is unfortunate.  I have darkened the OOF bit slightly to emphasise the FG bit as more of a lead in but  ...…….. .

A really nice image, John.  I like it in mono - particularly if the blouse was brightly coloured.

This was one of those occasions when I wished for a different camera.  I took the decision to only take my walkabout camera which has a fixed wide angle lens.  A telephoto would have allowed me to throw the BG out of focus more.
