I like the way you have captured such an intimate moment with this violinist, engrossed in her art but I just  wish the balustrade was  less obvious as it keeps taking me out of the  picture....?

Thanks Click, thanks Korky.

The trouble with the colour version Korky, is that her blouse is very colourful and takes over - hence the mono conversion and I guess, because I like B/W.  The balustrade is unfortunate.  I have darkened the OOF bit slightly to emphasise the FG bit as more of a lead in but  ...…….. .

Thanks Hatter.  

This was one of those occasions when I wished for a different camera.  I took the decision to only take my walkabout camera which has a fixed wide angle lens.  A telephoto would have allowed me to throw the BG out of focus more.
