INCOMING HEAVY

FUJI

Living underneath the Flight Path of Birmingham International Airport we hardly take notice of the regular queue of aircraft on landing approach....except perhaps for one...

The incredible HUGE Airbus A 380   600 plus tons with capacity for circa 600 passengers...we get three flights a day to and from Dubai.

Here you can see one of the fleet...Undercarriage down and huge flaps deployed as she descends creepily quietly and amazingly slowly.

You cansee OOF plants and our small greenhouse.

That is one lump of an aircraft for sure Fuji, and as you say amazingly quiet too, hard to imagine...and just shy of 577 tons on take off it is a fine example of power to weight = lift !
