Dutchess of Sutherland Crossing Whalley Viaduct.

That's a really great shot and you've got a Jackdaw looking on. I was interested where you'd taken this from and as I was out near Whalley bug hunting I went to have a look - I'm pretty sure it's on the steps to Whalley Station....

Correct.  Sat on the wall at the top of the steps.  Not good though because you are basically facing into the sun.  I have yet to find a good viewpoint for that viaduct.

Well shot John, the railing and concrete bridge edging looks a little odd on the left edge of the picture - subsidence?

Probably Colin or just age amplified by a bit of compression from the lens (50mm on a crop sensor)

Thanks all for the comments.  Just out of interest, not a recent image.  Resisted posting it before now because Photoshop notoriously messes up detail like leaves in converting Fuji RAW files.  Recently treated myself to Irident X Transformer which converts Fuji RAW to DNG prior to processing the file in Photoshop in order to solve the problem.  Improves feather detail in birds as well.
