Not sure about this.  It's a bit heavy for me.  Probably deliberately so but I think I would like more with the shadows lifted a little.  Can't fault the composition though (and the IR treatment of the distant trees - I think ?)

Yes IR and deliberately dark.

A Good IR shot Bill, I like it a lot. The uniform contrast between dark and illuminated areas is impressive. Composition spot on.

Thanks Chris. I have since done a toned version which I prefer.

I like both, but prefer the original.
