Young Wallaby in the bush

Recommended Posts

Nice capture, I'd love the opportunity to photograph wild wallabies.... We do have a few in various parts of the UK that have managed to escaped...

Nicely posed, Cheryl. I think they are lovely animals and used to enjoy looking out of the window at them. But they have eaten so many plants, they have stretched the friendship to breaking point.

Yes I can imagine how frustrating it would be, Brian.. the fence is a good solution for future harmony between you and the wallabies.

Thanks Ryewolf. I had no idea there were some wallaby escapees there. If you’d like to photograph in the Australian bush, come on out. I’m sure Brian, Dierdre and I would love to show you around our part of the country.

I like that very much - it's not a roo, but it's the next best thing!

Rye - I'm pretty sure that there are wallabies in the Peak District. Although I've walked there a good many times and never spotted one.

There are lots of kangaroos also, Ryewolf. Grey ones in this part of the country. Need to go more into central Australia for Red Kangaroos.
